Light on her feet, careful, and scopey—Chastina is the definition of a modern showjumper. In the 10th edition of The Youngsters Auction, Chastina became the all-time top-seller for a record breaking 450,000 euros and was sold to the USA. Some of world's best riders expressed their interest in this mare and now the focus will be on producing her carefully for the highest level of the sport.

This 5-year-old mare by Chacoon Blue shows textbook technique and impressive athleticism. Her sire Chacoon Blue brings in the exceptional genes of Chacco Blue and Chastina goes back to a renowned damline. Her great-granddam jumped herself at international 1.50m level and she is the sister of two CSI5* Grand Prix winners: HH Carlos and Don VHP. Ridden by McLain Ward & Nicola Philippaerts, HH Carlos was one of the most competitive horses at CSI5* level and secured victories on world's very best shows, such as Aachen, Falsterbo, Calgary and Wellington. Don VHP was in his turn one of the most consistent showjumping horses with Harrie Smolders and won individual silver at the European Championships in Gothenburg in 2017. Furthermore, Don VHP won well over 2 million euros in his career. Given her exceptional damline and her outstanding talent, Chastina is a diamond in the rough for the big sport!
